Brown Dot Hotel Gyeongju

I was pleasantly surprised—no issues at all, the hotel surpassed my expectations. As a tourist, Gyeongju itself offers little, but the hotel was spot‑on. I chose a larger room that featured a jacuzzi and was super spacious. No complaints.

The room matched what I expected and was very clean; the coffee on the ground floor was delicious, the bathtub and water were pristine, and the clothes‑refresh machine worked flawlessly.

“Great place”

The room was roomy and there was plenty of parking. Everything was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was very basic—just cereals, eggs and toast—sufficient, though there was no butter or non‑dairy milk. The location was convenient for the places we visited. Breakfast choices were limited, no butter for toast and no non‑dairy milk options.

The personnel were courteous and the location was excellent, being very close to Bulguksa and convenient for visiting Bomun Complex and other major sights. However, dragging a chair in the neighboring room produced a loud noise that was quite irritating (some noise‑dampening like a tennis‑ball cover would help), and the shower door let water spill toward the sink – a barrier at the bottom of the door would be useful.

“예약한 방보다 더 작은 방으로 변경해줌”

I was really excited about the hotel's location, being close to Bulguksa Temple, but things took a turn when they offered to change my room because I was traveling alone. I agreed, but ended up getting a smaller room than I originally booked, which was a bit of a shock, especially since the price was lower than my original booking.
