“Goede B&B in mooie omgeving met vriendelijke gastvrouw.”

The apartment is nicely situated in the polder with a drive‑way to the house. It’s a beautiful unit with everything you need, very clean, comfortable beds, and a lovely breakfast in the room. The only thing that could improve is the maintenance of the garden where the swimming pond is located.

“Nice rural retreat”

I stayed in a clean, spacious rural spot that felt even better in person than in the photos. The garden was lovely for morning drinks, and the natural pool and sauna were available for an extra fee, though we didn’t use them. We drove to a P+R and cycled locally around Ghent. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and the free home‑grown chicken eggs were delicious. The only downside was mosquitoes, despite the mesh on windows and doors, and the tap water had an odd taste, so we drank bottled water instead. I’d gladly come back.

“Super verblijf gehad.”

Everything was fine, mostly just the nice bench. The water had an unpleasant taste and smell.

We really liked it, especially because it was very hot in the first few days and the apartment was under the roof; a cooler would have been great, but we managed by keeping the blinds down during the day and ventilating well at night. From the accommodation we took nice bike rides to Ghent and Bruges. I’d definitely recommend it. Nothing to complain about, except that there’s a steep staircase to the flat – good to know, but it wasn’t a problem for us.
