“Horrible experience!”
The place was in a decent spot, but that’s where the experience stopped. The front‑desk staff barely acknowledged us when we checked in. We paid 700 a night for a three‑night stay and were never told anything about the resort’s amenities or how to get to the wifi. Our first night we ate at the Marsh Tavern, but the noise level was so high we couldn’t enjoy our meal, and we were seated next to a curtain that hid a pile of dirty dishes while a few staff shouted “Corner” every two minutes. The restaurant was severely understaffed. The hotel treated paying guests like third‑rate customers while focusing on its wedding venues and ignoring the regular guests. We left a bag of trash in the courtyard, and over the three days the bin never emptied, spilling over onto the ground. The room’s wallpaper was peeling and there were plenty of bugs.
