The room was beautiful, very clean, with daily housekeeping and excellent breakfast. The sea is only 100 m up the hill, and a great restaurant sits right by the beach. The staff were disappointing – unpleasant and sometimes rude. The nearest grocery shop is about 2 km away, which is inconvenient.

We were warmly welcomed and met lovely people at the house, and we’ll definitely return! There was no real criticism, only that the bar was closed, which they said was due to staff shortages. Anyone who wants to complain will always find something; we were impressed by the effort of the local staff and send best wishes, Stefan and Valentina.

We appreciated being able to check in earlier than the official time and praised the housekeeping team for keeping our room spotless and for their positive attitude. We had no complaints about their work. However, our experience at Stafylos Suites Boutique Hotel fell short of expectations, especially in hospitality. We often travel to Greece and are used to a warmer, more personal touch, with small gestures or gifts that show care. Here the atmosphere felt cold and distant, lacking that genuine Greek welcome. The service areas emitted an unpleasant smell into the corridor, which was disappointing for a boutique hotel. Additionally, the quiet hours from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM were ignored, with noise that made it hard to rest.

The location is great and everything is very clean. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms were nice and the surroundings pleasant, and the pool was lovely. The air conditioner was loud and a bit harsh, and it was hard to reach staff for questions or to order anything at the bar.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel sits close to the beach with sea‑view terraces. The ladies at the hotel don’t speak English very well, but if you ask them something they’ll find a way to help you. The most useful tip for a good night’s sleep was that we didn’t use an air conditioner—just open the windows and you’ll be fine. It was about 35 °C during the day, but at night it was easy; compared to the city where the heat feels suffocating, this was a relief. The only downside was that the breakfast was the same every day, but that’s understandable.
