Nothing good to mention. The room was in a noisy area with people up most of the night, constant knocking on the door, very little sleep, and when I finally got into the shower the curtain was pulled back and the tub hadn’t been cleaned in a long time; the place was just dirty.

“You can do better. Avoid this hotel”

The bed was firm, but the room wasn’t clean. The front desk ran out of body wash, and even after speaking to the clerk he still messed up a simple request to have my bed made, the floors cleaned, and fresh body wash supplied.

The location was great and the cleaning lady was very friendly, even giving me extra coffee. The rooms felt updated—no old thick bed covers like in the picture—and the bathroom looked fresh. The room itself was clean. On the downside, there was no pool, just a covered area that didn’t look appealing. I woke up early and ran out of coffee on the first day, having to wait until the office opened to get more. It would be better if there was a way to grab coffee on our own. I understand it’s not a 4 or 5‑star place, but if you’re up early you shouldn’t have to wait for coffee. The staff seemed to forget that customer service is part of the job. If you want people to return, a simple thing like coffee could make a difference. I was told we’re not a 5‑star hotel, so “deal with it,” but the staff eventually helped—though they should be more proactive if they want repeat guests.

“A pleasant stay in Collinsville!”

The new owner is very pleasant. The room was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. A new shower has been installed along with fresh towels. The curtain was ragged and needs replacing, and the freezer in the dorm fridge still needs defrosting.

Convenient for shopping. Near food.
