The manager was a cleaning lady, a receptionist, and a manager all at once—just awful, unreasonable, and rude. We asked for a late checkout and were told it cost 500 UAH, which we agreed to in order to stay near the sea. The next day we were told we had to return the keys because the manager had “her own plans.” What’s the point of a late checkout if we have to come back to the hotel from the beach to hand over the keys? When I called her, she started yelling, claiming she didn’t even need the 500 UAH and that she was giving terrible service because the hotel was closing and she didn’t care. She screamed and hung up. If you can’t provide basic services, don’t offer them. You said we could leave later, so if you’re reading this, I hope you’re not joking and you’ll close down because you’re not fit to work with people. We rented two rooms; neither had a working safe, the lights flickered, and the mattress was smaller than the bed. We were given already opened and half‑used shower cosmetics. The two‑bedroom room had only one balcony chair, so we had to take turns sitting. In reality, this isn’t a hotel at all but two private floors in a regular house where the owner will talk to you as she pleases and provide service “by mood.” Don’t come here.

The room was wonderful and well‑maintained, with a beautiful terrace view. The staff were polite and pleasant. The location is excellent for exploring the historic sights of Odessa.

Comfort, location, cleanliness, quietness, little extras like coffee, water, iron, and a telescope were all great. Everything was fine.
