Die Lage ist grundsätzlich gut, auch wenn sich in der Nähe eine laute Straße befindet. Die Menschen in der Unterkunft waren sehr nett. Es gibt zudem einen Hund, der sehr lieb ist – für Allergiker jedoch ungeeignet. Die Unterkunft wird wohl Stück für Stück in Stand gesetzt. In Teilen erkennt man bereits Verbesserungen, sodass sie nach Abschluss der Renovierungen durchaus Potenzial hat. Die Unterkunft war in meinem Fall leider nicht nutzbar, weshalb ich kurzfristig umbuchen musste. Für Allergiker ist sie aufgrund vieler Tierhaare ungeeignet. Zudem wirkten Fenster und Balkontür instabil, was für mein Equipment etc. ein Unsicherheitsfaktor war. Keine Klimaanlage vorhanden. Bad und Küche befanden sich in einem stark renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand. Auch in den teilweise bereits überarbeiteten Zimmern besteht noch Verbesserungsbedarf hinsichtlich Sauberkeit und Hygiene. Die Kommunikation sollte ebenfalls deutlich verbessert werden. Der Austausch per E-Mail und Telefon war schwierig, und bei meiner Ankunft war kein Kontakt möglich – ich musste etwa eine Stunde vor der Tür warten, da es keine Klingel gab und niemand erreichbar war. Positiv hervorzuheben ist jedoch, dass der Betrag nach einigem Austausch vollständig erstattet wurde

Nothing. Very disappointing stay. The property is on a busy street with traffic noise until late and again before sunrise. No aircon or fan, so windows had to stay open. The room was not dark at night and sleep was poor. One shared bathroom for all guests and hosts, and no indoor living area. Would not stay again

Nothing. We made the booking via Bookong.com. It was immediately accepted as a non-refundable, pay on making the booking basis. We made the booking and the payment as we had an early appointment in Cape Town center on Tuesday morning and we travelled with pets. I started making calls to the number provided on Sunday. I made numerous calls during Sunday and Monday to no avail. The call was directed to voicemail. I send messages to the number and sent e-mails via the 's mail service but never received a response. We arrived at Kloof Nest at around 6pm on Monday. Firstly, the house is not numbered. Secondly, it has only one entrance, a formidable black steel gate, with no bell or intercom. There was no response and we waited for about 15 minutes before another guest at the venue opened the door for us. The owner was then woken up, only to tell us that they do not have any rooms available, even though they were able to show me our booking on their system. The property is not well kept and does not fit the normal high standards of a venue. Disregarding the problems to contact this venue, I strongly recommend avoiding this property
