Breakfast and dinner were very good. Ahmed is a perfect landlord. The ride to see the sunset was very nice. Everything was as expected, especially since there were only four tents, so it was very calm and I had good contact with other visitors. Nothing to complain about.

We had a lovely stopover during our Oman trip; Ahmed arranged a meeting on the desert edge and escorted us to the camp, which is perfectly positioned—just sand beyond the camp. The meals were warm and let us chat with Ahmed about desert life. The small camp makes us feel lucky to experience a suspended moment away from mass tourism. The sleeping tent was perfect, and the camel tower for sunrise was fantastic; we’ll definitely return if we can.
We wanted something very simple for the desert and we nailed it! The camp is wonderful – just three tents in the middle of the dunes, with an open bathroom to shower under the moon and stars. Ahmed and his brother gave us tea, dates, a delicious dinner and breakfast. They also saved our car from the sand. That was the night I slept best in Oman. Waking in the middle of the night to go to the toilet and hearing absolutely NOTHING was unforgettable. Ahmed also arranged a quad tour for us.

We wanted something very simple for the desert and we nailed it! The camp is wonderful – just three tents in the middle of the dunes, with an open bathroom to shower under the moon and stars.
