“Wonderful beautiful chateau”
The location staff, especially Max, Julian, Favier, Lucy, Alexandria, and the bar manager, were outstanding. The best room in the house was the chapel, and the breakfast service from Julian on his first day was fantastic. The walks among the vines were enjoyable. The room cleaning left the cheese platter from last night untouched and didn’t replenish Epsom salts, coffee, or other supplies, so more room‑service options are needed. The TV stopped working on English channels and then lost sound entirely one evening, but Favier and I managed to fix it together. One staff member simply watched as my disabled sister‑in‑law struggled up the front steps, but later that evening Favier helped her. The spa did not offer manicure or pedicure services.
