The accommodation sits in a very beautiful spot in one of Gyimesbükk’s valleys, with clean, decent rooms, a shared kitchen and dining area, and a kind host. The only downside was that the mattress in our room felt a bit uncomfortable.

The place is set by the riverbank, offering a fantastic host. Aranka’s friendliness is unmatched and she cooks with passion; time seems to stand still here, with complete silence and tranquility in the deep‑dark night. The lodging itself is fine, and the large living room on the first floor is excellent. The ground‑floor kitchen has everything needed for a proper meal. The only issue was that the mattress springs were too soft and squeaky for us.

Arankáék are extremely warm hosts. We received an authentic Székely breakfast made from local ingredients, and they gave us useful tips for the next day’s activities. The lodging is wonderful, located in a nature‑close area. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but the place and the hosts’ friendliness made up for it.
