The cost‑performance was quite good; the equipment was basic but the place was clean, and the receptionist was very helpful. I wish there had been a fold‑away simple chair.

Hostal El Ninot sits in Barcelona’s chic Eixample district, just a three‑minute walk from Diagonal Avenue. Its bright, air‑conditioned rooms feature wooden floors, central heating, TV, and private bathrooms, with some offering terraces or city views. Nearby, Passeig de Gràcia’s Gaudí landmarks, bohemian Gràcia squares, and multiple bars and shops await. Free Wi‑Fi, tourist information, and easy access to Hospital Clinic Metro and Provença FGC stations enhance convenience.

Overall a very good experience! The hotel is tiny, just a few rooms, with a small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, kettle, capsule coffee maker; no stove or grill). It’s only one floor in that building, the rest are apartments, which explains the tiny sign at the entrance. The room itself was small, fine for one person especially since I spent the whole day touring the city. A couple could manage but would need to accept no privacy. The bed was surprisingly comfortable—one of the best I’ve had in Spain. The AC worked well. Daily cleaning was great. The location was perfect; that part of Eixample seems less touristy. Plenty of businesses, restaurants, bars for every budget, pharmacies, minimarkets, etc. A metro station is very close and takes you to Sagrada Familia quickly. Casa Mila is 10‑15 minutes on foot, and you can hop on the hop‑off buses from there. The front office was open only during the day; the manager was very nice and gave excellent city‑visit advice. WhatsApp communication before and during the stay was quick and efficient. The late‑check‑in instructions were clear. Overall great value for the price, a solid option if you’re in Barcelona for a few days. Soundproofing wasn’t great, as other reviews mentioned; most nights were fine except the last one when a banging sound at night lasted a while—probably pipes. The front‑door key sometimes gave me trouble, but I sorted it out.

Great location, friendly/welcoming staff, clean and comfortable. Extremely minor thing but i would have loved coffee making facilities in the room. That said, there are more than enough places within the immediate area
