The staff were friendly, everything was clean, and it was great to have a seat on the balcony. The only thing was that maybe a small table could have been added. The location is far from Ella, but that makes it very peaceful. Breakfast was fine, especially the roti we found very tasty. If you’re not into that, it’s good to let them know you want a Western breakfast; they can do that too.

The hotel is slightly outside the city centre but can be reached easily by local transport. The environment is very welcoming, as are the owners. The view of the forest is truly unique. Breakfast, prepared on the spot by the owners, is excellent.

The Levon Ella hotel is an absolute haven. The house is beautiful, the rooms are nice, spacious and equipped with comfortable beds. The atmosphere in the hotel is unique, it has only 4 rooms and breakfast is served on the roof terrace with the best view into nature. The staff are extremely courteous and professional and prepare the tasty, fresh breakfast each morning in the outdoor kitchen on the roof terrace. The room is a bit noisy because the door opens directly onto the (small) street, so you can hear the tuk‑tuks well.

Amazing view, great breakfast, very nice staff. They did everything they could to make us feel like we were home. Rooms are charming and the area is very calm. The location is great for enjoying the jungle view but there aren’t many dining options around.

The site and the building were truly beautiful, and the balcony opened straight onto the famous railway—trains only ran four times a day, so they didn’t bother us, while the spot was also perfect for trekking to Ella Rock.
