The spa looked promising at first and the other amenities seemed nice, but most of them were shut down for renovations. I felt the listing was misleading – the photos showed everything working, yet the Foxtel kept cutting out and the spa was tucked behind the back‑of‑house area. No discount was offered for the missing facilities.

The only thing missing were decent pillows – the ones provided were way too hard and oversized, making it hard to get comfortable. I asked for extras, but even those were uncomfortable.

Location couldn't be better and the room was tidy, but the ongoing renovations left a few annoyances. Exposed bolts near the spa tripped me a couple of times, the kettle water had to be fetched from an outside tap, and the AC remote arrived dead‑batched. The bathroom sink was so tiny I struggled to wash anything, yet overall the area was still pleasant and I hope the work finishes soon.

The guest house felt like a clean, cozy home away from home, with a great gym, a sauna attached to the room, and a spotless spa. All the modern appliances were immaculate, and the hosts, though never met in person, gave crystal‑clear instructions and responded instantly. I wish I could have stayed longer; there really wasn't a downside.

The host replied to my messages right away, and the spa facilities – especially the massage chair – were fantastic. Breakfast, however, was just cereal, milk, and a few spreads, with no bread, and there were no lounge chairs to relax in. So while the service and spa were great, the morning offering left something to be desired.
