The stay was comfortable, the staff were very polite and helpful, the room was super clean, and the complimentary breakfast was superb—overall the best homestay for anyone traveling who wants a homely vibe.

The manager was excellent and always responsive; the staff spoke good English, were very polite, the premises were spotless and nicely decorated; the mattresses were very good and the hotel was one of the few quiet ones we’ve been to in India; the on‑site restaurant was convenient and the amenities were excellent, giving great value for money. We requested a driver to take us around Meghalaya, and the guy they found—Alex—spoke good English, knew his job, was reliable, and even very affordable. The only downside was that hot water lasted only a few minutes because the shower’s water heater is small, as in many places in India, so you need to wait another 20 minutes for it to rewarm; but when it’s hot, it’s HOT, which is good—just be swift.

The surroundings were peaceful, the staff were extremely helpful and polite, and the breakfast was delicious; nothing to add.

I had a nice stay there, with wonderful hospitality and ambience; the staff were very helpful, parking was ample, and even the owner was very nice.
