The hostel is in a good location and the host is easy to contact. There were no towels; when I asked the host, he said there was a Pepco nearby, so we had to buy our own. The room smelled of mold that couldn’t be ventilated. The bedding may have been washed, but the duvet itself had a strong odor.

The kitchen comes with a washing machine and offers good value for money, but there was no toilet paper.

We were on our way from a festival and booked a room at the last minute; upon arrival we couldn’t get inside, had no contact, no information, and the phone was off. We only managed to enter after a trial‑and‑error search for the key, so if there had been any contact everything would have been great.

The place is in a convenient spot, close to a grocery store that stocks various beers, and it stays clean. However, there is no bathroom attached to the room and the lighting inside is weak.
