“I enjoyed my peaceful stay.”

Overall everything was fine. Minor issues: I couldn’t place the electric jug under the tap, so I had to fill it with a cup. A small basin for washing dishes would have been nice; they had liquid, t‑towel, cloth but no basin. The double bed in Room 18 had a wooden base wider than the bed, and I knocked my legs on it a few times when heading to the toilet in the dark. A bread plate for buttering toast instead of the big plate would have been a welcome addition.

“Shouldn't be open”

The spa was a highlight. However, I paid an extra non‑refundable pet surcharge, the hotel was under renovation, and there were noisy electrical issues, paint odor, and unfinished rooms.

The room was spacious, though a bit worn. Noise from the road was an issue. The host oddly insisted on full personal details upon arrival, which felt insulting and implied suspicion of theft. He initially gave us the wrong room. The bathroom had a tiny soap and no shampoo.

The place was basic but comfortable, yet it was extremely noisy. A heavy truck route on the main road caused constant traffic noise 24 hrs, and the motel room rattled whenever a large truck passed by.
