The Japanese style of the rooms was nice, but a big issue was the drink vendor outside the hotel who ruined the atmosphere. That vendor blocked the restaurant entrance with people drinking in front of the hotel, making it dirty and lowering the quality of the place. It was noisy, especially during breakfast, which was unacceptable. If that problem isn’t fixed, I won’t return. Also the breakfast was not good at all, and there’s no pool.

The hotel is well‑located, but the walls are very thin and we were disturbed several times in the middle of the night by neighbors shouting.

The room was beautifully furnished, everything was very clean and aesthetic. The breakfast buffet was huge and offered a bit of everything. The location is superb, right next to great restaurants and in the city centre. The rooftop terrace gives a dreamy view. The downside is that the breakfast buffet closes at 9:00, the staff rarely interact or talk to guests, which felt a little strange. Also, the bathroom and toilet are completely open; it might suit couples more than friends, it looks very chic but isn’t for everyone.

“Real feel of travel experience”

The location was great, but it could be a little noisy. Make sure you pick the right room type; the cultural rooms have low ceilings that aren’t suitable for a 6.5‑foot, 65‑year‑old Aussie.
