I’m disappointed but nothing happened. The staff were dishonest, they tried to swindle me 1000 bahts, and they offered another double room when the Booking price differed by eight francs.

The hotel’s location and the junior room were fine. The breakfast had very limited options for 600 Thai bahts, and they demanded immediate payment that wasn’t charged to the room. When I asked for bottled water at night, they told me to go to the front desk to pick it up because there was no 24‑hour delivery service, which a five‑star hotel should provide; they also forced me to pay for breakfast immediately. I’m now in a four‑star hotel where I signed a receipt to register the payment to the room, and they also took a 5000‑baht deposit. When I left, I asked for the amount back, and they told me I hadn’t paid; a problem arose. I asked for a receipt, they said they’d email it, but never did. I’ll go to them if the money isn’t returned within seven days to force the bank in Kuwait to process the payment. I didn’t expect this from a five‑star hotel. Now I’m at a four‑star place where the deposit was only 1000 bahts and cash, and they didn’t require me to pay for breakfast immediately; it was registered to the room. The Vista Hotel is behind this one, but even their buffet breakfast is huge for 390 bahts. The bathroom is clogged with water and smells like sewage, which shouldn’t happen at a five‑star hotel. The lights are burnt out, only two work, and a cockroach was in the shower. I liked the new cleaning staff; the men were better than the women. The women didn’t use shampoo or conditioner, and they didn’t mop the floor or change the sheets and pillows daily, unlike the men. I stayed in the room, saw both, and compared: the women arranged the bed but didn’t change anything or put towels.
