Elegant rooms feature en-suite facilities, free Wi-Fi, and tea/coffee making facilities. The on-site restaurant serves seasonal dishes, and the bar opens onto a terrace. The hotel is close to the M6 and M60, with Handforth Railway Station nearby.

The location is great, just a short walk or taxi from the train station, and there’s on‑site parking for a small fee. The staff were very friendly and helpful; when we couldn’t check in right away because of technical problems they apologized and offered drinks from the bar while we waited. Room service was quick and the food was nice. The rooms felt a bit dated, and when we went to bed we found two of the beds had several small hairs on the sheets; we didn’t mention it because we were too tired to have them changed, so we just wiped them off. One of the bed covers had a hole, and a main light in our room didn’t work.

The location was very good. It was very loud; we were in a family room and had to get up early for a flight, but a loud group next door kept banging, swearing, and slamming doors until 2 am. The room was fairly unclean as well.

The single room was small but cost‑effective, and the area is nice. Transport links to the airport aren’t as good as some other options.
