Very lovingly decorated. Breakfast was great. The surroundings are very inviting for walking and cycling.

The hotel was freshly renovated, showing a keen eye for detail and staff who were very dedicated. However, it sits in the middle of nowhere and the lake has dried up, which is a drawback for other guests. There were no adequate blackout options, and because the emergency lights stay on at night, the room stayed very bright after dark.

The view from the room. The staff demanded copies of our passports, which they could only take with our explicit consent, which they didn’t have. This is a violation of GDPR. The staff’s English was deplorable, barely understandable. The room had a slanted roof as described, but the staircase up to the attic is not recommended for those with limited mobility.
