I couldn't contact the owner, and they never mentioned the key box; a neighbour helped me call him. It was probably a misdial, but at midnight the owner called me, whispered something in Spanish, then abruptly hung up without apologizing or explaining. It was awful, so I left that night.
The village of Valflor is wonderful! The location is excellent and the views are beautiful, above the clouds.

The place is quiet and the staff are perfect, but I had a heat wave and the hotel wasn’t very prepared for it.
It was quiet, but the cleaning could be improved.
I only have one thing to say: we arrived and left immediately, never stayed the night, and booked elsewhere for the night.
