The host gave good info on local spots, brought tea and cake, and we had an upstairs flat with a kitchen; the rooms were spacious and comfortable, but the busy street caused traffic noise.

The breakfast was fine but the cost felt a bit steep for what was on offer, while the room felt almost like a flat with a large tatami area and a sitting room; the stairs are a bit tough for older folks, yet the owner kindly helped carry luggage up to the second floor.
