The shower room was clean, which was a relief.
This hotel's location near Osakako station is unbeatable, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
The staff were super helpful and responded quickly to all my questions.

“部屋の変更さえしてもらえたら最高なホテルだった”
The room was well stocked, but both the bedroom and the toilet reeked terribly, making the stay genuinely unpleasant. ===REVIEW 3<|message|>Not having any staff around was actually a relief for me since I dislike people, and the location wasn’t inconvenient at all, thank you. On the downside, the lack of staff left several guests unsure how to get in, so a few of us were stuck outside for a while; the entrance steps were steep and hard to climb, the room was sweltering on the first day—perhaps inevitable in a self‑service setting—and there weren’t enough bath towels, and when I fetched some none were available. Moreover, a towel on the bed had a brown stain, the pillow harbored long hair that seemed to belong to a staff member, and the kettle contained water inside, which was disappointing from a hygiene standpoint. ===REVIEW 4<|message|>The bathroom and toilet were separate and spotless, yet the place had a distinctive odor, the washroom door wouldn’t stay locked, and the stairs proved to be a struggle. ===REVIEW 5<|message|>The room was clean and very nice, but the shampoo/conditioner, which I expected to be my usual POLA brand, turned out to be a different product, which was disappointing. ===REVIEW 6<|message|>The mountain setting was lovely, though the space was cramped for four people and it wasn’t possible to dine with children close to the room. ===REVIEW 7<|message|>The rooms were extremely comfortable and immaculate, and the location plus the rooftop terrace were simply perfect; breakfast service was a bit chaotic, yet the food itself was delicious. ===REVIEW 8<|message|>The hotel oozed charm, had tasteful décor and comfy rooms, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and both the roof terrace and breakfast were truly excellent; there was nothing else to mention.
“セルフ入室、料金や場所は良かったです。衛生面が良くなかったので綺麗にして頂けると有難いです”
The place wasn’t hard to get to, and I appreciated not having any staff around since I’m not comfortable around people. However, because there was no one at the desk, several parties struggled to figure out how to get inside, and the entrance steps were quite high. On the first night the room was uncomfortably hot, which I guess is inevitable with a self‑service setup. We ran out of bath towels and couldn’t find any extra, and the towel left on the bed had a brown stain that looked dirty. The pillow had a long hair on it, which I assumed came from a staff member. The kettle was wet inside, which was disappointing from a hygiene standpoint.
“良き。また泊まりたい”
The room was clean and really nice. I was disappointed to discover that the shampoo and conditioner weren’t the POLA brand I usually use, even though the label suggested they would be.
There was a noticeable, unpleasant smell.
The bathroom and the toilet were separate and spotless, which I liked. On the downside, the hallway had a distinctive odor, the washroom door wouldn’t stay locked, and the stairs felt steep.
