The location was very handy, yet the bathroom floors in the rooms were cracked, the hotel clearly needs a major renovation, and the hallway had a strong drug (weed) odor.

“Did not meet expectations”

The hotel’s location was great, close to many restaurants and businesses, but as a solo traveler who had read many recent positive cleanliness reviews, I was instantly let down upon arrival: the room had a musty smell that even my purchased air freshener couldn’t mask, the double queen bed sheets were stained—one with a pen mark—, the bed creaked whenever I moved, the bathroom door and wall had splatter marks, and both the room and bathroom lighting were awful and dim. When I returned downstairs to retrieve something from my car, I was told the elevator was out and I had to use the stairs. The overall experience fell far short of the high expectations set by the glowing reviews, and I wish I’d paid a bit more for a different hotel in the area.
