The bed and shower are good; the breakfast is excellent, and you can even prepare your own lunch with tasty bread rolls for free. The price‑quality ratio is outstanding, and drinks (soft drinks, white wine, beer) are offered for a small fee.

Rustige ligging, vriendelijke eigenaren, mooie kamer, alles erop en eraan. Lekker vers ontbijt. Fietsen konden in het afgesloten hok. Top!!. Een kleinigheidje, de kerkklokken om 7.00 uur smorgen. Dat zijn wij niet gewend. Heeft ook wel iets nostalgisch

“A lovely relaxing place to stay with the best breakfast!”

B & B Reveille sits in a suburb of Kleve, giving a rural feel that we appreciated after a long drive. We stayed in a reasonably sized room with an ensuite. Communal areas offer hot and cold drinks, and parking is free. The breakfast was the best we had on the trip: Jos bought fresh rolls from a local bakery that morning, and there was a delightful selection of cheese, meat, and preserves. His wife brought a special cake that was scrumptious. Guests ate together and we chatted with a Dutch couple visiting the area. We were happy to walk a few kilometres to Landhaus Forstgarten, a nearby restaurant with fantastic food at a very reasonable price. Jos offered to lend us bikes, but after three hours in the car we were eager to stretch our legs! If we had stayed longer, we’d have loved to cycle around the pretty area with plenty of paths. Nothing negative—just a muggy night, so we should have turned on the air‑con in the room, but that was our oversight.
