I stayed at a private spot that was quiet and cool, with a good room that had a climate unit for a solid sleep. The room also offered a kettle, teas, and cups—something not every place has. The breakfast and dinner hall was spacious and authentic. The young host was delightful, hardworking, and friendly, and he welcomed us early and let us leave much later than the official check‑in/out times, offering drinks, coffee, and juice whenever we wanted. We were there over a holiday, so we couldn’t find a restaurant in town because everything was closed, but the host brought dinner to us in the building, so we didn’t have to go anywhere. The next morning’s breakfast surprised us again, even though I’d read previous guests’ comments about the fascinating breakfast. I travel a lot and see many places, but this was unforgettable—an amazing spread of local produce, cheese, vegetables, coffee, juice, and water. They even convinced us (since we don’t drink alcohol) to try local cherry wine, which was really tasty. We met part of the whole family, who were very friendly and valuable. The house is on the lake (fish pond) where brave people can swim in the spring and also have a night swim. The area is perfect for cycling. The property is pet‑friendly and does not charge for dogs. We’ll definitely return.
