The location is good. However, we were met by a very unfriendly lady at the front desk. We were also surprised by the breakfast hours of 05-08:30. When we entered our room, a noticeable mold and damp smell greeted us. I personally cannot recommend this hotel and would rather spend more money on another accommodation.

The location was fantastic, right on the main river walk and near the local market. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast room offers great views of the mountains and the city. It was very noisy, and the rooms at the back of the hotel are right next to a school, so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. There are some maintenance issues and mold, but it’s humid there, so that’s expected.

The hotel was right across from a noisy nighttime political event, and later the town’s anniversary concert played loudly behind the hotel, making it impossible to sleep or talk—an absolute nightmare. After we complained, they moved us to another quiet hotel, which was a great gesture.

The train station is close, and I could leave my luggage in the lockers. The lift worked fine. Breakfast was ordinary and there was no toast.
