The spot is well‑situated near the sea. The apartment was tidy and had all the amenities needed for a longer stay. The terrace is nice and shady, and free parking is available. There are great restaurants nearby. Public bus traffic can be a bit hectic, but a taxi is relatively cheap to reach the city centre, which is about 20‑30 minutes on foot (though Zadar isn’t very pedestrian‑friendly outside the centre—you sometimes have to walk on the road next to cars). The host was friendly. The place feels more like a coliving space with the owner, as one large house is split into apartments with some compromises. Motorbikes start next to your door, kids run recklessly above you, and drywall workers drill for half a day right on the other side of your bedroom. Not recommended if you have small kids with a fixed sleeping schedule.
