“Save urself time and headaches! Stay somewhere else!”

The place sat right across the beach, which sounded great until we read recent reviews. We reached out to the owner beforehand because we were traveling with an athlete who needed a quiet room to rest. He told us the nearby nightclub had been quiet for months, but during our stay, loud music kept playing until about 2 a.m., and none of us could sleep. We later discovered other guests had complained about the same issue. When we raised the problem, the owner denied the noise, said we were the only ones complaining, and refused to apologize. He only offered a two‑hour late checkout for one room after we insisted. Additionally, one door lock stopped working and stayed broken until checkout, and another room’s air conditioner was non‑functional. After we checked out, the owner accused us of extra cleaning and sent us a photo that didn’t show either of our rooms. We found similar complaints about confrontational behavior and cleaning accusations from other guests. When we asked for compensation, he redirected us to a third party. The property is old, the noise problem is ongoing, and the owner handled our concerns unprofessionally. I would not stay here again.
