Everything was fine except for the loud music that prevented me from sleeping properly. The music started at 6.30 am and I couldn’t sleep at all.

Hermannuse Maja, nestled in Haapsalu’s Old Town on Estonia’s West Coast, sits beside the historic Haapsalu Castle ruins, offering first‑floor balconies with castle wall views. Rooms blend traditional décor with satellite TV, work desks, and hairdryers. The ground‑floor café serves Estonian cuisine beside a cozy fireplace, while rotating art exhibitions showcase local talent. Free Wi‑Fi, public parking, and proximity to the harbor make it a distinctive choice.

The hotel is close to the city center, rooms have all the comforts, and breakfast was decent. However, a club across the street keeps its outdoor speakers on until 5 am, so if you need to sleep, this isn’t the spot.

The room was very nice and snug, the location was superb, and the staff were fantastic. On the ground floor there’s a pleasant bar/bistro with tasty food. 5+
