No doubt, the sun is a good hotel with friendly people and a good value for money! Central location on the pedestrian zone, bikes can be stored and charged. Still, I wouldn’t book a second stay. As I unfortunately discovered only on site, the menu lists Stopfleber (foie gras) in the restaurant. That’s animal suffering for a regular guest.

Cozy family‑run, attentive, and a great breakfast in a superb location. Because of the location on the main street, an open window can be somewhat noisy.

The location is excellent—close to Freiburg and many attractions, in a charming town, with comfortable rooms and great value for the price.

The room, styled in a tasteful country‑house manner, was colorful and refined, and the bathroom was very comfortable and modern, making it a place to relax; however, the sharp, early‑morning bell from the church next door was a bit intense, so this place feels more suited to “early risers” 🤪.
