“Lovely cosy authentic ski village feel. Great location easy parking.”

The breakfast was fantastic, the dining room felt warm and friendly, and the kids adored the games; the view was beautiful, the accommodation cozy and relaxed, and the host was approachable and helpful without being overbearing—thanks a lot. The only downside was the many steps from town and the parking, but that’s expected in Thredbo and the location is still superb.

“Cosy, Comfy, Close to the snow.”

The place was cosy, warm, tidy, and relaxing; Greg was a solid bloke and we played a few good games of chess with a kid in the very comfy living room. Prices were good and overall it’s as good as it gets for an Aussie snow experience. I did lose a point because a very odd fellow next door to our room started shouting and cackling around 11 pm, sounding like he was on some turbo fuel and acting like a character from a psychological horror film. He scared my son and wrecked our sleep; his mad outburst was so loud that my first attempts to bang on the wall were ignored until I increased the force, after which he finally stopped. It sounded as if he was suffering from mental health issues or something.

“Good standard ski lodge accomodation.”

The drying room for boots was good and the view was nice, and having cooked breakfast each day was a real bonus. The guest lounge was very comfortable. The only downside was that the stairs up from Bellas Corner at the end of the day are a good warm‑down exercise, which the owner makes very clear.

The place was spotless and I felt totally secure during my stay. No complaints at all.
