I checked in on 24th October and by 26th I was already annoyed with the water issue at night, and the staff were busy telling cinema stories. The West hotel really isn’t worth it – the water problem is a major downside.

I never even got the accommodation when I arrived at the hotel; it was the worst experience ever.

There was no service at all, the room was not okay, the same room was not provided again, the cleaning was poor, the waste next to the bedsheet was full and in bad condition, and the staff never came after one call, then a second, then a third; every time they said “sir please wait” and the bed condition was still bad.

It’s worth it for couples staying in Kodaikanal centre; there’s a restaurant with affordable, tasty food for three meals a day, but some electric sockets are in bad condition and there are no backlogs.
