Forrest Beach is a 14‑minute walk; Busselton Margaret River Airport is 21 km away, with nearby fishing, canoeing, cycling, diving and snorkeling.

The location is superb, a short drive to Busso and the beach is close enough to walk. The wood fire was a great addition. The staff were friendly and happy to give help and directions. My wife loved the bed, but I found it too soft; at 115 kg I sank in and had trouble getting out.

The place was right near our family in Capel and the staff were at least friendly enough. Unfortunately the room was just a bare‑bones container‑type unit and the price matched that simplicity. I even spotted a couple of tiny cockroaches, so I’m not planning to return.

This spot sits right on the ocean, and the staff are genuinely lovely, always ready with good tips about the surrounding area. They were flexible with our requests and even gave us a free upgrade, while the rooms and facilities felt spot‑on and the setting was quiet and natural. Honestly, I can’t think of anything that was off‑kilter.

The heater in the room worked like a charm, keeping the space warm all night. The only downside was the shower – the water pressure was pretty weak, which made the rinse feel a bit frustrating.

The kitchen area set aside for studio guests was top‑notch, making it easy to cook anything we wanted. We also enjoyed a smoked lamb shank on Friday night at the restaurant – it was absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to help whenever needed.
