The entrance led onto a shabby path, so I almost felt tricked by the high rating, but the hotel delivered a huge surprise. From the moment I stepped out, I was at a cliff overlooking the sea, ready to dive straight in the morning, and at night I fell asleep to the sound of waves, waking naturally at 6 am without needing air‑conditioning—just a window open and a fan. The free dive gear was a bonus, and the owner was friendly while the staff knew the dive spots well. A short walk across the street and a right turn brought me to a fantastic eatery with food, fun, and a sea view that made the location unbeatable in terms of value. On the downside, the shower water was a bit weak and sometimes hot water was missing, a problem common to the whole island. The newly renovated rooms also felt less appealing than the original all‑wood design, lacking that distinctive charm.
