“A comfortable home from home.”
The food was exceptional, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. It was a little difficult to cool the room although the temperatures were high. We made good use of the fan

The breakfast buffet was varied and the Veloraum was well‑secured, free parking, central location, 4 min on foot to the train station and to the centre, very helpful, straightforward lady at reception. The pillows were too thick, room temperature – no air‑conditioning, only a fan, warm in the room, windows open for ventilation, partly noisy because of cars, room small, DU/WC narrow, double bed narrow.

I booked a single room that was on the small side, but everything was spotless and the older décor was still in great shape. The bed felt solid with a decent mattress, and the breakfast gave me enough to start the day. A short walk got me into the pedestrian zone, and the staff were genuinely friendly.

The spot is definitely the best part – right where you want to be. Inside, the only downside was that cooling relied on a fan, and the room faced the road, so it was a bit noisy.

The hotel’s location and restaurant are truly impressive, and the owner along with the team made us feel welcome and acted professionally. It strikes a nice balance between family‑run charm and solid management. The only drawbacks are the somewhat dated furniture and the lack of air‑conditioning, which they say will arrive next year.
