“GRAN HOTEL”
The renovated hotel blends rustic charm with modern style, looking both pretty and elegant, and it was spotless; being small meant the staff treated us wonderfully. Its location was perfect—just a short walk to train and bus stations in the historic centre, surrounded by restaurants and shops in a mostly pedestrian, lively yet quiet and safe area, with no noise in the room. Our spacious, naturally lit room had three windows, a huge 180 cm wide comfortable bed, a large bright bathroom with a good‑pressure shower offering rain‑type jets. The staff, especially the young blonde at reception, were very attentive and spoke Spanish fluently; they had our room ready before check‑in, let us drop off our bags early, and stored them for free. Breakfast was good with excellent coffee, juice and fresh fruit. I’d recommend it 100 % as one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in, though the pillow was extremely thin—almost like sleeping without one—so I wish I’d asked if a firmer option was available.
