The room was very comfortable with a huge free standing bath. The bed was great as I like a firm mattress. The reception wasn’t open at all times. You could eat in the restaurant but couldn’t order snacks/sandwiches or breakfast. In my room one of the window locks was broken so I didn’t feel 100% safe

I visit Birmingham often and will definitely return to the Baloci! I was greeted warmly upon arrival and felt well looked after. The parking is safe and my room was lovely—warm and comfortable. The extensive tea and coffee selection, plus oat milk in the fridge, was a nice bonus.

The décor is great, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. I wanted a drink and a late cheese plate after returning, but the kitchen was closed even though I could see staff working there. I expected that to be possible for a paying guest.

The room had no windows, the TV didn’t seem to offer live channels, and there were no instructions in the room.

Everything was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We received a phone call on the morning of the booking asking if we wanted a complimentary upgrade, and we were moved to the Alexander suite, which didn’t disappoint with its unique design, super king‑size bed, large TV with Netflix, mini fridge, massive roll‑top bath, rainfall shower, and super soft towels. The room really has it all, and I’m already planning to book again next month for our wedding anniversary.
