Hotel del Carmen

The place is very pretty, with a very authentic and warm style. The location is pretty good. The only issue is the parking. The person who received me was in a hurry because “she was already going to sleep”; she didn’t give me the internet password or the general details. She handed me the keys and left. She also looked annoyed when I told her I was going out for dinner. I arrived between 9 and 10 pm; I couldn’t get there earlier because of traffic at some toll booths, so it wasn’t intentional to arrive that late. The other staff members were very friendly.

The concept is nice and the exterior is pretty. The gentleman is very friendly and even suggests places to go. The rooms need upkeep; there’s mold in the bathrooms, some coat hooks are falling off, and the bed springs feel loose. An older woman, who seemed like the owner, showed no customer‑service attitude and was quite passive‑aggressive.

Clean, cozy, and well‑located. The bathroom is very dark and they don’t provide shampoo.

“Muy buen lugar , muy acogedor .”

Excellent spot right in the town center. The Wi‑Fi in the rooms is spotty, but everything else is fine 👌🏼
