“Empfehlenswert mit kleinen Abstrichen”
The location was very good for AB, free parking in front of the entrance, and it was very quiet. Room 227 seemed recently renovated with a firm mattress. The value for money was good – we got a Superior room instead of the booked Standard. The breakfast selection was rich, with various loose teas, blackberries, etc. The staff, despite being near the border, didn’t speak German. The window was dirty and the tilt function was broken (room 227). German TV channels were limited to low‑budget stations. The room’s minimalist décor, empty minibar, and the kettle and some tea/coffee were present but there were no glasses or cups. Apparently, Mercure Management prefers paper cups at home.
