We absolutely loved our stay! The beds were incredibly comfortable – we have never slept so well in a caravan before, as they are usually too hard. The caravan was fantastically equipped, with two great bathrooms, and the one with the bath was really special. Everything we could possibly need was provided – pots, pans, cutlery, plates, salt, pepper, sauces and even a BBQ. We didn’t need to bring anything with us! The Wi-Fi was also excellent, with a strong connection, and the TV, Netflix and other streaming services all worked perfectly. This is a big plus, as many caravans have poor or no internet connection at all. Here, everything worked to a really high standard. Towels and bedding were also included. Everything was perfect and made our stay very comfortable. We would definitely come back! ❤️

The location on the main clear‑water lake is ideal, and the main restaurant Dog & Duck and entertainment are within a pleasant walking distance. An on‑site shop would have been very handy, and clearer information about the lake facilities during booking would help. More activities for children, such as improving the play area for older kids or adding a crazy golf or indoor pool, would be great.

Very homely and lovely communication with the owner. Probably not a huge amount of family‑friendly activities around the site, but we only wanted a quiet break so that was fine.

Just had two fabulous days at Andrea’s retreat, home from home. Beautiful caravan, lovely balcony, and a surprise bath – all the modern conveniences highly recommended and I’ll be returning as soon as it’s free. Oh, and let’s not forget the fantastic view of the lake. Absolutely nothing at all.
