Located in the heart of Veysonnaz ski resort, Hôtel Magrappé offers breathtaking views of the Valais Alps. This ski-in/ski-out hotel features 60 bright rooms with wooden furniture, Alpine-style decor, private bathrooms, cable TV, and minibars. Some rooms have balconies. The hotel's restaurant serves Italian and Swiss cuisine, and the bar offers wine and hot chocolate. Sion is 12 km away.

The walk along a lovely forest trail by the stream is close by. The restaurant is very good both evenings and for breakfast with buffet. The room is spacious and pleasant with a balcony and mountain view. The location is great, but it’s unfortunately very close to a noisy cable car that was supposed to start at 9 h but began operating at 7:20 a.m., waking us up.

The location and chalet vibe were great, and breakfast was good. However, there was no front desk available, so I couldn’t reach anyone. The Wi‑Fi code error was identified but no fix was offered, which was really problematic for a business trip. The room was old, and the bathroom ceiling was badly damaged.

The room was spacious, with an L‑shaped balcony that offered a stunning valley view and a clear sight of the lifts, and the staff were very friendly. The chalet atmosphere was nice, and I appreciated that the staff asked people still on the terrace to leave by 22:00. The downside was that being right next to the gondolas meant constant noise from the lifts, and we were just above the terrace, so it was noisy from 7:30 am.
