This Riad is undeniably beautiful, built in a traditional style just outside the main Medina; the inner courtyard is stunning and the first impression is fantastic. Karim was an excellent host who helped us get to and from the Riad with ease. We also used the spa for a hammam and massage, both of which were great. Our room, a double‑height mezzanine, offered great views from the window. However, the shower plug in our room got blocked quickly, causing a puddle, the room’s facilities were basic and it felt a bit like a hostel, which I’m not sure is normal in Marrakesh. It also seemed pricey for what it was, as we spent over 500 euros for a night including the massages. I was also asked to pay an unexpected credit‑card surcharge, and the breakfast was a bit basic. A swimming pool would have been nice for this price.
