The location was stunning, and the facilities had been renovated to perfection.
The food was amazing, but I had a bit of a stressful time getting to the hotel.
The views were absolutely breathtaking.
My kids loved the karaoke, pool table, and billiards, and we had a great time together.

The dinner, bar, room, and view were all great.
“Abgelegenes aber sehr schönes Onsen-Hotel”
The food was very good with a fantastic selection, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere pleasant; I especially liked being able to choose my own Yukata for the duration of my stay. The Onsen area was clean and well organized, and the rooms were spacious and comfortably temperature‑controlled. However, the whole area is a construction site, so staying inside all day is preferable for a relaxed visit.
It was great that nothing cost extra while staying at the property. It would have been nicer to have a welcome and goodbye escort, and the parking only had one spot left—what about guests arriving later?
The view over the water was stunning, yet the hotel’s surroundings felt like a construction site.
The room was great, the view impressive, and the buffet delicious; plus there were free drinks almost all day. I couldn’t use the hotel’s public bathhouse because of my tattoos, and this wasn’t clearly explained before booking. The staff didn’t know that the local public bathhouse, which costs only 500 JPY, is accessible to tattooed guests. Luckily a local informed me.
