The parking area was convenient. The roadside hotel next to a gas station felt outdated and poorly maintained. Cleaning left a lot to be desired. There were no kitchen services. The restaurant was closed because of a later party.

I was traveling alone as a pilgrim on the Camino Mozárabe and stopped at Pensión Xiquena in Fiñana. For tired pilgrim feet, this place is absolutely perfect. The reception was incredibly friendly, hassle‑free, and you feel immediately welcomed and well taken care of even as a solo traveler. The rooms are clean, quiet, and provide exactly the rest you need after a long stage. The real highlight was the Menú del día in the evening for an unbeatable 16 €. After a long hiking day, that meal was a dream—fresh, authentic, plentiful, and of excellent quality. The value for money is simply phenomenal. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all pilgrims on the Camino and would stay here again anytime!

The paid breakfast at the restaurant had good quality‑price. The staff abandoned us during the four nights we stayed; they neither asked nor mentioned it even once. We asked for a pillow and are still waiting for it to be brought.
