The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, which made checking in a breeze. Unfortunately, the inn is tucked away in a hard‑to‑reach spot, and getting there was a hassle.

When we finally arrived at Morro de São Paulo we couldn't locate the place, so I gave Ana a call. She actually came out to meet us, which was a huge relief. The room itself is spotless, airy and quiet – you really feel the peace there. I’d definitely go back.

The only thing that kept me up was the mattress – it was way too soft and gave me a sore back each morning.

Ana and Marcos were on point with their service, and I loved that the property was on flat ground so I didn’t have to climb any stairs. The downside is the local crowd: they throw loud parties late into the night and seem to have little respect for visitors, and the police here don’t really step in to help.

The suite may be modest, but it felt really welcoming – everything was clean, tidy and the staff paid attention to the little details. I was nervous at first because of some mixed reviews, but once I settled in the calm atmosphere, I realized it was perfect for a relaxed night’s sleep. The location seemed off at first, yet the city’s charm makes the distance feel negligible.
