I stayed here on Sept 4 after visiting the Alaska State Fair (Twisted Sister!), and the room was quite large, very quiet, and comfortable; the laundry room just down the hall was clean and easy to use. The view from our room was a brick wall, and the check‑in process was strange: there’s simply a phone at the desk that you call on and you’re given instructions without ever meeting anyone, which felt sterile—perhaps a result of the COVID era.

We stayed in the same room as last year and were just as satisfied this time; the front‑desk staff were very friendly, the room was spacious with a balcony and amazing view, plenty of coffee in the room, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The hotel room was pleasant, centrally located and within walking distance of charming little shops; we only stayed one night but it exceeded our expectations. The check‑in host was very friendly and efficient, yet the strong air‑freshener scent in the hallways and rooms was overpowering and made me feel a bit ill. We unplugged the diffuser in our room, stowed it in a drawer, and opened the window, but the odor persisted. That’s the main reason I probably won’t return.

The bed was comfortable and the room was large; the hotel had been recently refreshed. It was odd that there was no personal front‑desk attendant, and I’m not sure I would feel comfortable staying there alone.
