Very loving hosts, interesting décor, tasty breakfast (27 Soles). Directly opposite is a market, so there is a lot of activity in the early morning hours. Oropax helps out here.

A charming hotel, with the proprietor Ruben’s sculptures in the pretty garden and elsewhere adding interest. My room was very comfortable with a nice soft mattress and pillow, the hot shower was the best throughout my month’s visit to Peru, lovely view from the window, and very quiet at night despite a large number of dogs in the vicinity. Ruben was very friendly, welcoming and helpful—and quite a character! I highly recommend this hotel. Nothing else to note.

No promises were made and everything was delivered… Gloria and her father are excellent in everything: as tour guides, hosts, and great storytellers. We dined and had breakfast, all excellent, very good.

The staff, especially Ruben, went above and beyond to make everything comfortable; he’s funny, friendly, and helpful even if you don’t speak Spanish. No complaints.
