It’s a great place in a great location with truly wonderful staff. The rooms were incredibly spacious, clean, and offered beautiful views over the Kangra valley. It sits right in the center of Mcleod Ganj, with everything within walking distance. I enjoyed my three‑night stay and appreciated the hospitality; thanks especially to Kartik for making me feel at home. From day one I felt welcomed like family, which set the tone for my experience at Buddha’s Abode. I’m already looking forward to returning. Thank you!

The rooms were deeply clean, the staff were very courteous and always ready to help, and I highly recommend this property. It sits in the middle of the market, so everything is easily accessible from here. Thank you 😊😊

Manager Kartik and the rest of the staff were courteous, helpful, and prompt. They upgraded us (three adults) from one room with an extra sofa bed to two full rooms without us having to ask. The rooms were clean and the kitchenette had a fridge and kettle. The location is central, though a bit tricky to access due to narrow streets—typical of Mcleod Ganj. A great café sits just one level down in the same building, with good food and lovely views. The mountain view from the balcony was exceptionally beautiful. The entrance/lobby area and the rooms & bathrooms look a bit run down compared to the photos, but that’s mainly an aesthetic issue—the whole room was functional and comfortable. The street is a bit congested, and the sound of car horns and neighboring restaurants playing loud music carries into the rooms late at night. There is no air conditioning, but there are ceiling fans.
