“Si vous êtes adepte du cannabis c’est le mieux parfait pour vous drogué !”

The spot is right next to King Cross, which is great. However, the place is filled with cannabis smokers, the smell of weed lingers in the common areas and even in the rooms at 8 am, with cigarette butts scattered everywhere on the floor. I ran into some odd people in the hallways who were hiding their faces—maybe dealers, I couldn’t tell.

The location is good and the room is spacious. At check‑in, nothing was explained to me, not even the breakfast hours, which were disappointing because they only offered bread and jam. The dorm was shared by eight women, and the quiet hours were never respected. I barely slept because the other girls wouldn’t stop shouting and making noise until the early hours of the morning.

“Great hostel would stay again.”

The hostel is large with a lovely courtyard area. I was lucky to get a balcony in my room that offered a gorgeous view. The staff were amazing—Henry and Ethan were excellent. Nothing else to add.

“Only reconmendable for real backpackers..”

The location at Kings Cross is convenient, and they offer free dinner on certain days if you arrive precisely on time, making it a solid choice for backpackers. On the downside, there’s no nearby parking, so we ended up paying 81 AUD for a night in a recommended car park. Breakfast was just toast and a sweet spread, and the guests didn’t follow the rules—there was a lot of noise and everyone was smoking weed, which was really irritating. I won’t return, but I understand this is a place for very young people who might act like that, and despite all the warnings and signs, no one enforced the rules.

The common areas are too chaotic and not clean enough.
